Basic Beams These hardened basic beams, are fastened to the machine's base with screws, They are used guide and position the cross beams. The adjustable end stops H 4320 are positioned in steps of 25 mm (1 "). The beams serve as a base for the Clamper H 4300 and the H 4380 adapter for the multiholder of previous Fixturing System 2000. Beam lengths are available in steps of 50 mm (2"). The length and the hole pattern of the fastening screws are matched to your machine model in question. |

Q 4200 Series Cross Beams These infinitely movable cross beam can be clamped in any position between two B 4000 Basic Beams. Larger workpieces up to 100 kg (220.46 lbs) can be clamped between the cross beams using the Support Plates H 4366. To avoid collision of the lower wire nozzle with the support plates, the cross beam can be lifted or lowered by using spacer plates having a thickness of 6 mm (0.24"). Cross beams having a length of more than 600 mm (24") are delivered with a larger cross-section (36 x 85 mm (1.41 " x 3.34") instead of 30 x 60 mm (1.18" x 2.36")), to avoid deflection of the beam because of the long length. Workpieces held on or in between the cross beams can be leveled using the integrated adjustment screws at the ends of the beams. The third axis is adjusted by the Adjustable End Stop H 4320 shown below. |

H 4320 Adjustable End Stop The adjustable end stop is used on the basic beams for repetitive positioning of the cross beams. Positioning/repetitive accuracy < 0.002 mm (0.00008") The Basic Set 4000 Plus contains two end stops. |

H 4366 Support Plate Support plates are attached to the cross beams and are used for clamping large workpieces between two cross beams. Clamping of the workpieces is done with the toe clamp of the Clamping Jaw Set H 2850. The supporting plate is also used for supporting workpieces clamped with Beam Vise H 4312/H 4312.1, H 4331 and H 4332. The plate can be easily removed after clamping. The length of the support surface, is variable from 8 mm (0.31") to 29 mm (1.14") through the movable mounting screws. Maximum load per plate 100 kg (220.46 lbs) |
